Retreat Dates

Join us for an unforgettable 5 days of connection to self, nature and like minded people in the tropical oasis of Mixto. Each day there will be morning and evening yoga and meditation practices. Additionally, we will have a sound bath and cacao ceremony. The days will be free for you to rest, play (kayak, hike) or explore the town. There are no requirements or expectations of you; you can do as much or as little as you like. I plan to create a space of acceptance, connection and love, as that is where we heal, rejuvenate, and expand the most.

Everyone is welcome, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

About the Teacher

Dr. Christen Scott

Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness

Dr. Christen Scott, Psy.D., ERYT-500 is a clinical psychologist who has extensive training and experience in teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Because she witnessed more transformation through the 8 Limbs of Yoga than in traditional psychotherapy, in 2010, Dr. Scott closed her private psychotherapy practice and moved to South Florida with her husband. They owned and operated a yoga studio for over seven years. Dr. Scott has and currently leads workshops, trainings and retreats all over the United States and internationally. Her business is called the Yoga Shrink.
