About the Teachers

Maura Tibbs

Yoga Teacher

Maura Tibbs, originally from Southern California, began practicing yoga as a teenager. She started teaching in 2009 in San Francisco and has completed nearly 1000 hours of training. With over 20 years of Hatha yoga practice, Maura also loves conditioning and resistance training. Her extensive training includes Ashtanga, Iyengar, Restorative Yoga, Zen Meditation, Tantric Yoga, Pranayama, Ayurveda, Prenatal Yoga, and Yoga for 12 Step Recovery. Maura now teaches and resides in Boulder, Colorado.

Aiko Smith

Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, facilitator and speaker

Aiko Smith, a 2x TEDx speaker, is a mindfulness facilitator and teacher trained by UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior’s Mindfulness Awareness Research Center. Devoted to fostering a kinder, more compassionate society, Aiko teaches evidence-based mindfulness practices. Her vision is to liberate individuals from unnecessary suffering, enabling them to positively impact their communities and families.
